WIN £250 AMAZON VOUCHERS
What do you need to do to be in with a chance of winning?
All you have to do is look out for, and complete the short feedback survey that appears when a support ticket is closed. Once you have taken two minutes to send us your feedback, you will automatically be entered into the draw to win £250 of Amazon vouchers. Easy!
Remember to complete every survey for every ticket that is closed, as we are doing this on an ‘every entry / survey counts’ basis.
The prize draw starts from the 1st of April, and every survey that is completed during the quarter (1st April to 30th June) will be entered into the hat for the chance to win!
Winners will be notified by email.
Congratulations to Charlotte, Taylor, Angelique and Lauren who have all passed their probationary period with flying colours. We had no doubts, and we are delighted to have them, and their skills, experience and knowledge in Team CPL.
At the end of February, Blockworx 1.2 went live and it came with one significant improvement…
OCR , otherwise known as Optical Character Recognition, is a bit of functionality that reads documents automatically, so you don’t have to.
This feature will read the details of your pdf invoices and automatically populate the details of the development, invoice number, dates and value.
You can do this for one invoice or for multiple invoices, all in one go.
We’ve been asked for OCR by a number of Blockworx users and it has been high on our list of development priorities for some time, so we’re delighted to be rolling this fantastic time-saving benefit to you!
CPL 3.0 Update
We’re still working on the initial framework but that’s really coming along now. We’re very close to almost having it completed. As we’ve mentioned in the previous updates, our new product is going to be web-based. It’s going to be Cloud hosted, and we’re working on the framework to allow for any users to access their data securely from anywhere, as long as they have an Internet connection.
So there’s been a lot of technical considerations we’ve had to make because of the way the previous software worked, we now need to allow that to come into the new age to access that remotely. It’s been a long project that we’ve been working on for quite a few months and it is now coming to the end.
We’re polishing off the last few bits, making sure our regression tests are all passing and catching any little things we need to change at this point. And then once we’ve signed that off, we’re then looking to write in the new features and the new bits of functionality that users can actually get to use and interact with CPL in a whole new way.
It’s all very exciting and I’m just looking forward to letting our customers see it really and seeing what they think because I think they’re going to be really impressed.
